Sorry its taken so long to post, work has taken over.
I bought these vintage Levis shorts from AARDVARKS for only $4!
Cut & distressed with an exacto knife & sandpaper, and just followed "PARK & CUBE’s DIY tutorial. (www.parkandcube.com)
These shorts are inspired by Alexander Wang’s Fall/Winter 2008 line. I used two different chains, and 14L gromets. It took me like 4 hours total =]
I added staples around the top edge of the back pockets to somewhat make it my own.
The top is by Rojas, which is an affordable designer collection based in LA. They’ve got some great unique stuff! The garment pattern is based on a circle pattern and there’s one large hole at the center with (2) cut armholes. (You’d have to know Patternmaking to understand where I’m coming from)
